We are seeking an individual with experience and success in web development for a start-up company. We will rely on you to coordinate the selection, installation, configuration and maintenance of HCI infrastructure and equipment for LaborVoices.
Responsibilities
- Own web development—design from beginning to end—from design and implementation, to launch and support.
- Coordinate between several stakeholders including members of our engineering team, application designers, managers, and engineers on other teams.
- Review the UI and API designs of your peers, as well as fix bugs and troubleshoot operational issues as they occur.
- Report to senior Executives, particularly the CTO.
Qualifications & Expectations
- Demonstrated passion for HCI and building rich and innovative user experiences.
- Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs.
- Experience building large-scale applications using JavaScript, JSON, and Ajax.
- Background in HTML/XHTML creating/editing, file management.

We are seeking a highly motivated financial professional with strong experience in analyzing expenditures, cost controls and cash flow, for a start-up company. We will rely on you to participate in budgeting, financial reporting, analysis and financial statement interpretation. Responsibilities
- Analyze the Company’s financial plans and practices, including accounting, budget, and contracting as well as reporting activities.
- Coordinate closely with the CFO to assess business risks and develop procedures to ensure the Company is meeting its fiduciary responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide analysis and counsel on legal and policy issues, including: proposed new products; mergers and acquisitions; financial offerings; financial structuring; seed and venture funding; securities offerings; compliance issues for a pre-IPO company; ESOP transactions; nondisclosure agreements; outsourcing agreements; Open Source, copyright and other intellectual property; and business strategic planning.
- Lead the company through the seed funding, venture capital funding, IPO process, and attend to SEC and public shareholder issues.
- Provide legal counsel on issues arising from actual or anticipated lawsuits.
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the company.

Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of support materials and services for all marketing, communications and public relations.
- Direct the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations staff and coordinates at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Company.
- Create, implement and measure the success of: a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations strategy to facilitate internal and external communications; and all Company marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including web, publications, media relations, and client and investor acquisition.
- Provide editorial direction over the design, production and distribution of all Company publications and online communication.
- Build communications vehicles to create momentum and awareness, and to test the effectiveness of communications activities.
- Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, annual report, e-newsletters, logos, letterheads and the Company website.
- Mentor and lead team members responsible for LaborVoices website administration.
- Ensure that new and consistent pieces (article links, stories, blogs, and events) are posted regularly, via the site and social media.
- Act as the Company’s representative with the media.
- Coordinate media interest in the Company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
- Ensure the achievement of marketing/communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives. Evaluate and report progress to the Executive team.
- Develop short-term and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
- Recommend short- and long-term Company goals and objectives to the Executive team
- Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing/communications/public relations function.
- Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations and use this information to help the Company operate with initiative and innovation.
- Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the Company’s key constituencies regarding the quality of programs and services and the Company’s relevance.
